Hi everyone im curious what Gem razor I happened to find at an atique store. also id like input on what you guys think.

I reckon its a 1912 SE. but I hesitate to reckon because i'm usually wrong.
I have a 1912 that looks similar, yours looks gold though. I LOVE IT. i always get great shaves from it so i suspect you will too. nice score!
i should say PAT. 1912 as it could be made in any year. just with the 1912 patent. but what do i know...

Great razor! It is the only razor I have used for the last few months.
Looks like the GEM 1912. They are supposed to be very nice razors, but i could not get on with SEs. Good luck and nice find.

Nice find! I received a Gem about week ago that I won in an auction but have not used it yet.
I didn't think these were produced in a gold finish - does this one appear to be gold because it's been soaked in a vinegar solution? that's what happened to one of mine.

it's not brass?
It seems to be some kind of light gold wash on top of the brass. I have a straight brass one and it looks different.
