FILM NOIR ..... any fans ?

A also watched "Breathless" since I was seeing all these French flicks. Didn't really like it too much. The long scene in the bedroom with the scattered dialogue didn't do much for me. I think the subtitles weren't the best, so there were probably lots of nuances left out of the dialogue. I also couldn't understand the girl's motivation.

Ah, the French New Wave...

Watched Bob le flambeur, I liked the end.

Watched Le deuxième souffle by Melville, good movie too, it somewhat introduces the subjects developed in his following film, Le Samouraï (solitude, honour amongst thieves, etc.)

“Human Desire’’ is on TV on Sunday Night Noir right now. It’s on 20.1 which the Movies channel.
It’s from 1954 with Glen Ford. This is my best time to watch a ‘Noir’ film.
