Feather AS-D2 Customization Questions

I recently ordered a Feather AS-D2 razor and am expecting it to arrive any day now. While I have been waiting, I've read through a bunch of reviews and D1 vs. D2 comparisons. I've noticed a few people refer to how they swapped out the handle and/or baseplate on their Feather AS-D1 and it made me wonder whether the same could be done with the new AS-D2.

As an example, there was one fellow with an AS-D1 who commented on how he swapped out the stock Feather handle for a Weber 3" handle.

I've read a few peoples comments about how Feather specifically came out with the AS-D2 so that the razor could no longer utilize the IKON baseplate and Top Cap, although this notion did not yet seem to be the general consensus.

While I'd be interested to know whether the Feather AS-D2's Top Cap & Baseplate could be swapped out, my main concern and question about the AS-D2 is whether or not I would be able to swap out the handle alone.

Can't help with the IKON as I don't have one but the AS-D2 takes the Weber handles, EJ handles and the Tradere handles, so it's probably possible to use a lot of other handles on it. I've gone back to the original handle after trying others because for me that gives me the nicest balance.
