Feather Artist Club SS (Japanese style) Case

I'm thinking of buying one of these in the Japanese style but can't seem to find a picture of the case for storage. I've seen pictures of the older versions (not the SS) and liked the razor but was not that crazy about the big clumsy and plasticky looking storage case for it. Was hoping to see a picture of the SS razor storage case.

Feather makes a blade guard that should fit, I do not own an SS.

I haven't been able to find a suitable case or holder for any of the Japanese style straights. I have the SS, and there's no case or holder available.

I don't know if you want a cosmetically nice approach but if you just want to store or travel with it, then consider using the plastic spine from a document protector (appropriately cut down) and then dropping it in a cut-down toothpaste tube. The spine will stay on the Feather versions without a problem. I carry mine on camping trips but I use a plastic water-proof box... that I drilled holes in for ventilation. ;-}

The box is below - I carry both the Feather and the DE. The DE is for when I am in a hurry. The Feather has a custom handle that is just a tad longer than a standard handle. I put a piece of carpet in the bottom to pad it. It has survived plane trips and camping trips without a problem. The styptic pencil is not needed... never have used it... no sir... nary a weeper... nope...
