You don't remember Obsession from Calvin Klein?
I associate CK Obsession and RL Polo colognes with the 80s. They were as much a part of the 80s as Howard Jones, Duran Duran and Molly Ringwold.

Forget the '80s? It's time to remember! Non, je ne regrette rien.
Aramis came out in the 60's. Wonderful fragrance though, genuine power cologne, not many men go for that kind of thing any more. Aramis and a well fitting suit is a good way to announce your alpha male status in a room full of perfumed, slovenly dressed cissies.
Once upon a time, waaay back in the 80's, I had an extremely attractive woman tell me, "You smell so damn good, it's disgusting". I was wearing Drakkar.
Needless to say, I applied it so heavily for a while after that, it probably was disgusting. I eventually gave up on the Drakkar, but my favorite was Polo (original/green). SWMBO loves it to this day, and so do I.
One I never could stand, and was always worn way too heavily by most, was CC's Obsession. Ick.
