Fatboy or Slim?

Yesterday I bought my second Slim at an antique store. It was labeled as a Fatboy.

Did I need another Slim? Nope. But I'm thinking one my get a gold replate and the other a rhodium. At least that's how I rationalize things...

Thanks for the reply everyone! Seems like I have two good razors, lol. That's why I wanted a slim, seemed to be more liked due to the maneuverability. Still haven't gotten a shave with it!

My first DE was my deceased dad's Slim. The fat boy does have some cool factor, and I searched until I found a 1961 birth-year FB. Eventually, the FB cool factor and the birth-year mystic wore off and I sold it.

I too found the Slim to shave better. That is was my dad's razor does add meaning that doesn't go away.

I really like both but would have to give the edge to the Slim for me. My birth year/quarter razor is a slim. Gillette had a string of more than 1/2 a century of making really fine razors
