Fatboy me likey

I just wanted to drop by and share my first shave with my newly acquired fatboy. I skipped my shave yesterday in anticipation of a shave with this badboy on a good amount of stubble. I started on 5 the get the majority mowed down. Then I went for the final pass in 2 as well as touch up. Just a slight bit of irritation but not much.

DFS!!!! is all I can say. I also have a slim and I have to admit the dome angle does play a good role in which you like. I think I will crank it up next time as the number of passes definitely increases irritation for me.

What blade did you use, I love Polsilver SI's in mine?

Well currently I use red personna's or Astra Sp's. I have a few feathers I haven't tried just yet.

All very good choices! I find a good sharp blade such as these work well in these smooth shavers!

Yeah I can't handle duller blades with my coarse beard and sensitive neck. Many passes are bad for me

I prefer a Slim to a Fatboy but the FB sure looks a lot nicer!

Been having a play with the Fatboy and a Super Speed. As I am still crap at shaving I find the Tech is giving my limited skills a better shave.
Had a feather in both Fatboy and Super Speed and although I get a reasonable close shave I feel like Iv'e shaved my face off lol.
The Tech is way more kind with a feather in my limited experience and skill.

I did more stretching today with it set at 4 and left it there. DFS and no irritation or weepers. I think I am getting the hang of this thing.

Fatboy and Slim...I go back and forth on which I like better. But both are constantly in my rotation...and whichever one I'm using happens to be my favorite!

I like them both also, but I think more the Fatboy because I started with an EJ89 which is heavier and the dome more similar to it.
