Am i letting my paranoia get the best of me?

So perhaps a silly question. But to start. I work In a health care industry that still situationally requires the usage of surgical masks and less frequently n95s. I shave everyday, so no issues there. However even when I shave a few hours later my stubble pokes through and starts sticking to the mask. I realize this is a sorta insane question, but can stubble sticking to one's facemask eventually result in traction alopecia? I know some people who wear tight fitting helmets can experience thinning in areas in which it abrades the hair. Well my mask can sometimes really make my stubble and face irritated and ill admit I'm feeling paranoid here. Is this a totally unreasonable fear? I'll admit my blade of choice personna lab blues can leave my face feeling slightly sore. Maybe it's an illusion. Might switch to astras for a bit 😂. Thanks in advance and sorry for the neurotic line of questioning

I had been involved in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for decades. I have managed groups that had staff that worked eight to twelve hour shifts wearing at a minimum a standard dust mask up through some of the most exotic and protective PPE that exists. I have in no case ever heard of such an occurence.

I wore almost every mask out there and sometimes I would feel irritated. One thing that helped was a better moisturizer. I never experienced hair loss, just discomfort.

Needs milk and a bidet!
I been wearing a ball cap nearly every day for the past....umpteen years. I still have hair. And I heard "wearing a ball cap every day will cause you to go bald" eons ago.

I think your question has more to do with the pulling of the hair constantly. Like in braids day in day out, or a ponytail. I wouldn't worry much about it if I were you. Maybe ask a dermatologist.

I'll admit I have obsessive compulsive disorder that randomly attaches itself to rational irrational fears. Something that seems possible but is unlikely is my brains theme at times lol.
If you die first before loosing all your facial hair, can I have your shave stuff:cuppa:
