Family coming from Portugal

I have family coming from Portugal so naturally I figured why not see if they can bring me a Semogue. This would be my first boar brush and I am not even sure if they have Semogue readily available in the Azores. but JUST IN CASE, what are some of the better models?

Definitely see if they can bring you a Semogue 830 (or a 620 if you like a slightly scrubby brush).

I really like that 830. If they made it in a silvertip I would definitely buy it. I am going to ask if he can get me one but I am not sure what options he may have in the Azores.

I love my 1305. For the price of boars, you could get a couple.

The 830 is a boar bristle brush. Boar bristle isn't graded like badger hair. However, the Semogue 730 is a badger silvertip. I own a 1305, 730, and have an 830 on the way. L-U-V love the 1305. Handle is super comfortable and the bristle is very soft to the touch with plenty of backbone. The 830 is the same bristle as the 1305, but a little denser and with an acrylic handle. Can't go wrong with a Semogue.
