Face wash/scrub for occasional acne

Good evening all!
I'm looking for a good, gentle face wash and face scrub for my acne prone face. Apparently, my 25 year old skin has not gotten the message to stop producing the occasional pimple. I'm looking for the miracle cure here. Ha. Someone help me out.
Note: I have pretty sensitive skin, so natural products are a plus. Not necessary, but a plus.

Have you considered oil cleansing? Search for a thread in this forum entitled "Oil cleansing, don't be scared". Good discussion on it and in the first few posts there are some great links to websites that recommend oils and explain the procedure in detail. I've been doing it for a few months with good success.

As with all products mentioned on here it is definitely a case of ymmv, but I am finding that a daily face washing in the shower with Cetaphil's antibacterial bar is doing a good job of keeping my acne pretty much in check. Serious breakouts might be another story, but the antibacterial bar seems like a good daily maintenance regimen for my face.

Are you open to ordering from online sources? If so, my absolute favourite, natural skincare brand is Garden of Wisdom. It might be overwhelming, the first time you go there, since there are a lot of products to choose from but they have a lovely forum where you can ask for help with anything skincare related. Most of their products do come in sample sizes, too. :)

They do make my favourite scrub period, and I have tried a lot. It is called Takrai Lemongrass cleanser, and is a really mild scrub but not in the creamy ineffective way, but in the fine sand paper way. If I could I would just keep on scrubbing with it all day through, since the lemongrass scent is just so fresh, perfect in the morning.

As for a face wash,...so much depends on your skin. I actually own a few, since my skin is ever changing with the weather and seasons. Generally, I do well with oil based cleansers since oil dissolves oil. I cannot do OCM with just oils, because the oils are generally hard to wash of properly by themselves and so cause problems for me. Though, an OCM every now and again followed with a cleanser for oily skin works reasonably well (good for really bad days). Generally, gentler is better, though. I use a simple castille cleanser with some castor oil in it (also from Garden of Wisdom) and even if it is not The Cleanser it is a cleanser I keep returning to in my never ending search and good enough for days when I just need to freshen up. Though, as said, for seriously dirty days like after having spent all day working in the kitchen garden, OCM followed by a harsher cleanser works better to really, really clean.

I struggled for a long time with on and off acne, I found the best combination was Cetaphil daily in the shower, and benzoyl peroxide on specific spots when they break out.

Easiest and most effective trick when I can actually do it regularly would be get in the shower and run the hottest water you can actually stand and sit there for about 10 - 15 minuets.. Then wash your face with a Tea Tree based soap and rinse off. My face just broke out because I have been pressed for time the last 3 - 4 days to do this but I will do it tonight, it usually takes 2 days and my face clears up... The point of using the hot water is to open your pores which will push the crap out of your pores and the hot water dissolves the oil.. Then wash soap so the pores get cleaned out with and disinfected which is why I recommend a tea tree oil based soap like Desert Essence Thorough Clean Face wash or Dr Bronners Tea Tree oil....
