Esterbrook 407 Ink Well

Any one know how to fill this thing? Do i fill the glass and put the bottom on upside down. Fill the glass and hope that I can flip it fast enough to the bottom. I'm at a loss. I want to use this at work.
I suppose it would help if I added pics....
