EJ Handle Switch

I love my EJ DE 86 but wish the handle was a little longer. It's 3 1/4". I can get one at Bobs Razor Works (Bull Mastiff Deluxe 3 7/8) but the question was asked of me if the threads are Metric or Imperial.

Has anybody tried or done this before? I'm thinking somebody has at some point.

So there is the question; Are the threads on the head Metric or Imperial?

Metric. If you tell Bob that you want to fit an EJ, he will tap the threads correctly.

Do it all the time, open up a #10-32 with a metric M5X0.8 tap.
Still fits a Gillette as the metric threads are only .020 inch bigger.
