What's new

EEK ! My badger has a bug

I just got a new Simpsons Commodore X3 and was proceeding with the cleansing, when after the 2nd lathering, this popped out.

It looks like a flea to me, and a quite healthy one to boot. It measures about 4mm in length,

My cat used to have fleas but never this big.

This one must have been feeding "high off of the hog" so to speak.
Well,,,that would be so if this was a boar.:001_smile:001_smile

I assume he was DOA .

Yeah, he was a goner, and easy to spot floating around on top of all that white foam.

I made sure to keep this a secret from SWMBO, cause if she knew that I was bringing bugs into the house, it would be curtains for me. :001_smile

this is a good sign ! it means your badger was never exposed to monsanto pesticides ..you have an organic beaver brush...lucky guy !

4 mm might put it outside the size range of a flea. And it's not likely a flea would survive the shaving of a badger and other manufacturing processes to make the brush. Also, fleas like flesh, they don't cling to the hair like lice do. So the mystery is when did it get in there, and what is it? Is it even possible it was in the mug, and not on the brush?
