Edwin Jagger ED89bl, DE86bl and Ivory

I'm looking into buying an Edwin Jagger razor. At first I wanted to buy the ED89 but then I saw that they have similar models with black and ivory handels. I really like the ivory one. I would buy it from amazon, but the page only sais "Edwin Jagger Imitatoin Double Edge Saftey Razor". This is the one. Is this razor identical to the ED89 in every other matters than the handle? And what about the weight?

You don't need to go to amazon, especially not for an imitation.

I take it you are in the UK seeing as that is amazon.co.uk?

If you like the ivory version (DE87) then I would say go for it. It was my first DE razor and is still one of my favourites. You can get any number of razors with a chrome/metal handle. Your options for a razor with a nice ivory handle are much more limited.

Select your new EJ razor by your preference in the handle.
All of the EJ razors use the same head as the DE89 (as well as the Muhle R-89)
