I just noticed an influx of Chinese badger brushes and wonder if they really are as advertised. They are rather inexpensive and the Chinese are rather clever....so what is the verdict on these cheapos?

Depends on which brush you're talking about - "eBay" is a pretty general term, there are hundreds of different vendors using it as a portal.
i have two, and one on the way. im happy with them. cant beat the price.
I have a frank shaving best badger that does the job.

Attached is a 28mm Silvertip Badger Brush (Large Knot) I got last week. It is Franks Shaving from Ebay and is of Chinese Badger. I have to say this thing has no flaws and is actually really luxurious. I would recommend this anytime honestly. It has a nice heft which makes it feel like an expensive brush. I thought a lot of shedding would occur and nothing. if you have any questions feel free to ask!
