Duke strop

Latest thing I have made. It's been to hot to sit at the bench after the work day. But I did make myself a 3 3/8" wide , 36" long raised padded barber strop. Backing is 14oz hermann-oak-leather saddle skirting. The internal padding is a 3" strap I cut of 7oz horween dublin. The top is 6oz italian veg tan leather. I wanted to use the back for rouge but I did not recess the stitching so it bumps against the tang. I also named it after my boy DUKE and put a bulldog on it. It's fancy enough for a duke to use it.

Thank you.Sharp head knife and a big straight edge. I need a plough gauge. I love your strops.
