"Duke 2....you're cleared for landing!"

Eating chow tonight and one of my officers mentioned they saw two packages for me. A small one and a big one. I immediately knew the small one was the Duke 2 I've been waiting on for about 8 days. I wolfed down my food and high-tailed it to the mail room. Snuck back to my tent and opened her up! Did the best I could with my phone and computer cameras. I thought the black and white looked a little better...maybe not. I hand lathered some TOBS cream with it because....well...I had to test it out right!? I wanted to get some post bloom pics as well. My favorite thing about it is the handle. It's perfect! Bold, ergonomic, and STOUT! Can't wait to shave with it tomorrow morning. If our base gets ground attacked I'm taking my Duke, posting up on a roof somewhere, and defending it with all I've got!

I have some Proraso soap I'm gonna throw at it tomorrow....maybe I should say that the other way...I'm gonna throw the Duke at the Proraso! I also have my first puck of MWF on the way as well

The Duke 2 is an excellent performing brush. In fact I now prefer it over my Duke 3. Enjoy it to the full!

i had a Duke 2 and regretfully sold it off way back, i'm looking to add a Duke again shortly.

If decide to you use cream with the Duke, put it directly on your face and use the Duke to work it into a lather. This works just fine.

I was debating between these two brushes and went with the Duke 3. From your experience, wht is the main difference between the two. The specs seem to indicate that the loft is the same, but the Duke 3 has a wider knot and bigger handle. How does this translate to acutal usage?
