If you go search German beer on Wikipedia (aka my previous post) you'll find that not only does Germany, actually of Europe, has a specific glass for each beer type.
German Beer Glasses for Different Types of Beer

Make sure you buy a few souvenir beer glasses of different types to bring home.

As for shaving, I was in my local Edeka today. These products are typical in grocery stores and you may find Speick in an Edeka, Rossmann, D/M, REAL or others. Speick and few others are in my local Rossmann and D/M.

There you go! Stange glass for Altbier is typically 6.5 oz. And thanks for the photos. I see a few items there I have not tried and will bring home!

Two places to see in the Altstadt are Frankenheim and Uerige.
Both make a excellent ALT beer, which is typical for Duesseldorf.
It is a dark beer, and very good!!

Came here to say Altbier! I was there (wow, already six years ago) and very much enjoyed the city and many beers!

If you get to Köln try a Kölsch beer too.

A cold, wet, windy night to begin our exploration! It was quiet along the Rhine, but Frankenheim was a great spot to warm up, and Altstadt was pretty busy. I can see this place really hopping in the summer!

Found a small spot to begin the day with Killeptisch, an herbal liquer. Very close by is Uerige. Very cool spots in Altstadt! So fortunate that this city is a direct flight from my airport. I can see, though, why many look forward to the reverse itinerary, to find the FL sun.

Good shopping and eating and drinking so far!!
The Florena and the Weleda aren't bad and the Speick, Wilkie stick and Nivea are really good stuff.
But get more of the Thomy mustard.. that's real hard to find in the States.

Lol! I have a client who was an airline stewardess and she requested I bring some back! I got three tubes for her and one for me.

I just happened past Hagi’s Barbershop with my wife. All closed up now. €25 for a cut and shave.

Got a couple more tubes of Speick cream and some uber cheap Balea cream (€0.65).

Despite a bigger price tag, Waleda cream does not perform as well as Speick. Nice Lavender scent, though.

Count the Wilkinson Sword stick as another bargain European shaving product. Plenty of lather from a light beard coating after wetting the end of the stick before showering. Nice masculine scent. I should have snagged another!

PIF for Florena in Shaving Creams forum.
