"Dry Shave" Follow-up

Lo'Tek

When I get done with my wet-shave I rinse & dry my face and run my blade dry over any spots where I can still feel some hair. I have some spots that don't want to come completely smooth no matter what, primarily on my lower neck. My face is soft when I do this (not really dry).

Does anyone else do a "dry" followup, or is it just me?

I've done it once or twice after I found a patch that I missed, but I don't make a habit of it. It would seem like you're inviting razor burn, but if it works for you keep it up...

Nope, If I feel a small area after rinsing I'll still use a little lather before using my razor.

I don't do a dry touch-up, I usually will have some soap residue left from shaving and just splash water on my face till its saturated and shave the patch.

Wow! If I did that I'd have razor burn for sure. I just relather any area I missed and shave again.

I've done it a few times, despite all the negative posts against it. When I've done it I'll juat do it very quick and even lighter than no pressure if you know what I mean.  :001_rolle

hi
if i have missed a bit , little bit of soap and water on fingers and a light pass over area .:001_smile

Occasionally I will do a dry follow up if I've missed a spot. Although I've found it invites a weeper or razor burn.
