Downhill Skiers Are You Ready for the Upcoming Season?

Snowboarder here(dont judge ) but there is a good possibility that I will be making a trip to Vancouver this year and skiing Whistler. Last year was Denver area and the 3 prior years before that were Utah...think its time to check out Canada.

didn't make it out last year at all due to an illness, but will be back at it this year. planning a trip to steamboat and one closer to home in west virginia (snowshoe)

Nordic, FTW.

I'm "forced" to downhill by my 11 year old. Apparently vigorous aerobic exercise doesn't agree with her delicate constitution. She loves downhill skiing, but I don't dig the whole ski resort vibe. That said, I'll be out there when the snow comes. Maybe I can get her to start BC skiing one day.

I am a snowboarder too, so I hope you dont kick me out of the thread.
No big plans yet. I gotta get my board out of the basement and sharpen the edges and throw on some wax and I am good to go.

I do mostly day trips. I have yet to get out west, unfortunately.
