Doubt about brushes

Hi fellow shavers!

It´s my first post in this forum, aside the presentation in HOF.

I have already a considerable amount of brushes, many Semogues ( because I live 10 km from the factory), many Muhle , and 3 Simpsons. Chubby nº 2, nº3, and Tulipe nº 3.

in your opinion which is the best brush to face lathering!?

I'm only talking about badger, because, I don't really get along with boar, in spite I own a few from Semogue.

For me it has been the Duke 2. I've tried a number but the Duke 2 is the one that I will reach for if I have not decided what to use. I have a couple of custom purpose built face lathering brushes that come close but the Duke is usually the one that I grab for most often

Chubby 1 in best for me. Never tried the Duke.

Second is my TGN Finest 24mm set to 48mm. The ratio of loft to knot I think is key in making a good face latherer.

M&F blonde. However, collection opinions doesn't mean much unless those opinions are relevant to you. What do you like and dislike about the brushes that you have? That would give us a better frame of reference to discuss with you.

Don't overlook the brush subform. There's quite a bit of discussion in there that you can also reference.

It seems to me that if you own the brushes, you should make your own assessment on your personal results. Everything is subject to personal preference.
