I suppose there’s a valid place in the world for little Mattel-like teeny tiny handguns and plastic holsters you can wedge in your pants. They certainly are popular. But....
Who out there subscribes to the school of thought which DEMANDS
a big, Steel & Wood, large bore, “Don’t mess with me” handgun as an EDC weapon?
I humbly suggest considering something along these lines.
Each can be used for every day use.
And...the mere vision of such an awesome weapon is a
LOT more intimidating than your average .380 pop gun.

Nice! Love me some 10mm! Best holsters as well. All I use are Milt Sparks. Oldest one fits my 1911s in 10mm and 45. 25 years old.

I would proudly carry everyone of those 'open carry.' Regardless of losing the advantage of surprise. I just wouldn't care. They look that good.

Is that Tulip wood on that Ruger? I have Tulip on a Springfield Ultra Compact 45. One of my favs on a stainless gun.

I love it every time you post your guns and holsters. :thumbup1: When I finally end up getting get a 1911 in .45 and a revolver in .357 Mag I'm going to dress each in a nice leather holster.

I carry everyday. So I pack those girly guns. Mostly my G43. It’s light and thin.

But my next handgun will be a S&W 66. I’m ok with 6 :)

Love me some large bore all steel and wood hand guns, but I carry my compact polys more often. Big bore and steel are relegated to the woods and the range, compact polys are for unforeseen social engagements.

Teach me your ways oh wise one.

Those are nice! A revolver is at the top of my list. I was thinking the S&W 638. Maybe I will reconsider so I don’t have to turn in my man card so early in life.

Wow, nice little set up! what did it cost you to get the slide milled for that RDS?
Lol! A fortune! Actually, milling was ~ $100. Not bad. But then you got to finish it too. Then there’s the red dot which is another 400, and then add in the porting, and the thing has cost me a fortune lol. But it shoots as soft a 42 (.380), and hits out as far as I can see. It’s a great carry! But I do long for a full size. In .357 :)

A couple in .45 Colt...sure not mouse guns. Leather by El Paso Saddlery. I have the Cimarron .45 with me right now, which is appropriate as I'm in outlaw country, N.E. I.T. right now. Daltons were going to rob the train here but got hinkey and went about 10 miles north and hit it at Adair.

Left to right...Glock .40 in a Jim Burke holster, S&W 681 .357 Mag. in an original Roy Baker pancake, and a Colt Officers .45 acp, that Bill Wilson did a lot of work on, in El Paso Saddlery leather.

Ruger Old Model .41 Mag. in El Paso Saddlery leather. I don't think any of these are Girly Man Guns.

I dont neccesarily buy into the notion that bigger bore is better. You dont need to blow a big hole in something in order to put it down and theres a reason why the vast majority of miltary and police in the world carry 9mm pistols.
Having said that, theres also a place for big bore handguns too. If nothing else, theyre fun

Depending on the clothes I'm wearing, my EDC's. Both holsters are Milt Sparks.
