Used to love Tabac and hate MWF, then found out I had a "bad" puck of MWF, got a new one and its as good for me as Tabac, use them both regularly.

They're both OK, but they're in line behind Harris and P160. Probably behind Pen's EF old formulation, too. I'll find out as soon as it gets here.

MWF to me is what angels shave with. My fav wetshaving product of all time!
Tabac is what my Dad shaves with cause it smells like a Dad.

I am not a fan of either. I am not very fond of Tabac's scent (although I found it to be a very good shaving soap). I could never get the MWF to lather very well. I do not have an issue with the other soaps I use, so I assume MWF and my tap water just don't get along.

I like Tabac a lot but I find the scent too strong for me to use daily. I use it occasionally and always enjoy it's performance and scent when I do use it.

MWF is just an odd duck to me. It was finicky to lather and the scent was just "off" to me. It smelled too strongly of lanolin or something. I know that's it's strong point, but I just didn't like the scent at all.

My scent sensitivities are pretty unique, though. My 2 cents.

I'm just wondering.

You could dislike the smell, or it could burn and you just can't use it, etc.

While I like them both, if you're going for tallow, I also feel like Prairie-Creations puts out superior soap for the money.

I much prefer Tabac to MWF. I like and use both but prefer the scent of Tabac. And I find the lather a touch better as well.

Tabac's fragrance irritated my skin. I love the gentle nature of MWF. Interestingly I love Irisch Moos which is basically a different scented Tabac.

Both are excellent performers but Tabac's lather blows away MWF's lather. Both get 10 for efficacy though.

I like Tabac. I find the scent to be classy, and it doesn't linger too much after lathering. The scent of MWF actually gives me headaches, so I can't use it

I like MWF ... I LOOOOOVE Tabac.

MWF by itself is dull and boring. Mix it up with some Musgo Real cream and you get a great Superlather. Double dose of Lanolin, and Tallow to boot ... and the two mild scents mix together into something unique and appealing.

Tabac, on the other hand, is a solo virutoso. Nothing goes better with Tabac except more Tabac ... cream, ASL, Deo-stick, EdT, EdC, etc.

Tabac has a great scent and easy to obtain lather. MWF has a meh scent with a harder but better to obtain lather that moisturizes like a champ. I will never be without Tabac and MWF.
