Do you ever miss a razor you sold or traded?

I really am missing my Gillette gold Slim (Aristocrat):

I traded it for a close to mint late model Slim, with the later style solid end caps. I was digging nickel much more than gold at the time. I swear the Aristocrat shaved better though. I miss it.

Wait, is an Aristocrat a gold Slim? I had no idea...

Sorry for the ignorance, but I'm primarily a straight user and don't saunter into the DE section too often. :blushing:

As my grandpa used to say

Son, you've made a business...it's done now, let it go. Nothing come from the past. It's sterile...never forget this.

At time you thought it was a good option. All the rest is fruitless.

I'd say the only razor I miss (so far) would probably be my gold ball ended Tech. It was my first one, and I miss it for sentimental reasons.

I really miss my first two gillettes, a superspeed and a fatboy...traded them to crissman, so I am sure that his friend in India is using them and loving them...so I only regret not having them to look at...I know they were sent to appreciative hands...

I traded my first razor (HD) but don't really miss it...
What surprises me is that I didn't even miss my toggle (my favorite) when I sent it out to be replated and was without it for almost a month

My first '55 Superspeed. That razor was awesome. I got a Rocket instead, great razor but it's not the same...

The other that I didn't sell and never will is my Hoffritz!

You traded adjustables for ball handled techs? Awfully generous aren't you!?!?!

I actually miss my Futur. The look of that one really did it for me. The smooth lines and satin finish are very appealing to me.

Every week or so I contemplate picking up another one.

I sold my polished chrome Futur back in November. Ultimately I ended up buying another one a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I haven't missed any of the other razors I've let go

A couple of years ago, I sold a cased, mint, early Red-Tip Gillette for next to nothing. It was a flawless, spectacular specimen, and I haven't seen one as nice. I knew that I shouldn't sell it at the time, but did it anyway. I've regretted that ever since.

I've regretted selling my 38B (blue-handled version of 38C). I'm a sucker for blue and it's a beautiful shaver. I found it to be too heavy, though, so away it went.

I just bought a slim aristo adjustable, and I too have a love unmatched for it.

If it brings you no trouble, do you have any tips on how to obtain great shaves with it?
