I decided to try a different lather building approach this morning and rather than add water as I go, I didn't shake out my brush as much, reasoning that it shuold even out to be the same.... I underestimated the water capacity of a Golden Nib knot.

I mixed my lather and it appeared as if it might be too thin, but I again rationalized that it was probably just my imagination. Do you see where this is going????

Yes, I made a 3 pass shave with thin Proraso lather (and a Feather blade). At least I quit before touchups. Not awful razor burn, but more than I've been having by a mile...

It was then, that I apologized quietly to my face.

Yes, I have aplogized a couple of times... THere was the Merkur HD/Merkur Blade incident, the "I'm gonna get BBS on my neck if I have to slice it off" incident and a few more, but now days they're becoming less frequent.

Yes, three weeks in and I decided to try and go for BBS the first time I used a Feather. My face was not happy, and apologies notwithstanding, I had to take 4 days off from shaving. I also think I used a half a bottle of aloe vera in that four day period as well.

Had a friend in HS that used to go "Hoggin'" when he got drunk... We had to drag him out of the party on a couple of occasions. I'm happy to say that I didn't date any BBWs, but I definitely had a couple of times when I wondered what the heck I was thinking!
