Ditching satellite television

All outdoor antenna installations should be properly grounded. To
effectively protect the installation, the coaxial cable(s) should be
grounded before they enter the house. The grounding of
the coaxial cable is made using a “ground block” and copper
wire (not supplied). For information and the materials
needed to ground your antenna installation, visit your local
electronics store.

I think I have this grounding thing figured out.
The old sat dish had a pair of RG6 cables mated together that ran down from the mast into a box on the side of the house.
1 of these cables has a 18 ga wire attached to it.
The box also contains the old Comcast stuff and there is a ground block that was not connected to anything.
There is a 12 ga solid copper wire that runs through the box and is grounded to the electrical box.
I attached the ground block to the 12 along with the 18 ga wire running on the RG6.
