Not sure if I totally agree but I did get an effortless BBS result with my 57 Ball End this morning. Very smooth and no irritation as indicated by Alum block. I liked the shave so well, my Rex will have to sit on the bench for another day.

I have an English Flat Bottom, "Pre War" and Post War Tech, and so far, I like the Post War best. It reminds me of my Schick Krona, both give me a great shave, with almost no irritation. I would not say the EFBT gives me a closer shave, but it's not quite as forgiving. Based on what I had read here, I was ready for the EFBT to be my favorite, but at least with my examples, the PW is tops.
