Deoderant for Sensitive Skin???

Most of the time, I'm in the "shaving" sections on here, but recently I'm having a skin rash from some Degree Anti-Persperant/Deoderant labeled "Non-Irritating". I usually use one of the Old Spice deoderants, but the blue coloring in it stains my white shirt armpit areas blue over time!! :( The OS doesn't seem to bother my skin.

Can any one with sensitive skin suggest a good deodorant that is clear or white and doesn't inflame your skin?? (and smells good too)

Thanks.

Alum block gets a good recommendation.

I can't find it right now, but there's a thread around here started by user "burnwood" on just this subject which might be helpful.

I have found there is something in the clear deoderants and antipersperant that makes be break out in a big red rash. I use Old Spice Red Zone deodrant now and have had no problem with staining. However, I aways wear an under**** when I wear a dress shirt (even in summer). It makes them look much better.

I know a lot of people who use Old Spice an no one has mentioned staining. How are you washing/ dry cleaning you shirts?

Mitchum Unscented.. It's the only thing I can wear.. Oddly, though it says unscented, it does have a faint sandalwood scent to me.

I thought about this before posting...but hey I am not ashamed to admit it, so here goes. I have sensitive skin as well and many deoderants break me out. It was like a heat rash or something. I did a very simple thing that made it all go away. i shaved my under arm hair. Now the oder and wetness has gotten better and i do not break out any more. I am still using the same Suave for men deoderant. I hope this helps.

Lafe's Natural makes a variety of potassium alum roll-ons that I like. Right now I am using the unscented version with hemp oil and aloe and it is effective and easy on my skin. But as always ymmv.

Arm and Hammer deodorant works for me and I have sensitive skin too.

+1 although the natural stuff is getting harder and harder to find. It used to be my go to, smelled nice and citronella "ie" a nice compliment to the stuff thats a buck a puck (Williams)...

All the anti-perspirants have aluminium in them, and seem to give me itchiness and rashes. I switched over to Tom's of Maine deodorant a few years ago, and have never looked back. Really like the Calendula smell. Trader Joe's stocks the Unscented version, which is also pretty good.

+1 on the ToM deoderant
