DEA stick

Travelling at the weekend so thought I would try a soap stick, save space etc.

In my local Supermarket, (mercadonna, Spain,) on the way home from work, saw a big tube of Lea soap and a Lea stick next to it.

Got to the checkout, Saw it doesn't say Lea, It says Dea. Same typeface etc.

This is a proper supermarket, so would be surprised if this was just a rip off. Couldn't be bothered to take it back.

Anyone know anything about this brand?

I'll try it in the morning, but I've used cream out of a tube for 20 years, so not got much to compare it to.

Says it's got glycerine and lanolin....

I´ll let you know how I get on.

Cheers

It's not BEA? LEA and BEA are shave sticks made by the same company, with different fragrance and packaging. I have never heard of DEA, and Google tells me the rest of the forum hasn't either.

Yes, it's BEA. Really wasn't having a good day at detail recognition yesterday. DOH!:blushing:

Thanks for the info anyway.

How did it work?

REALLY well.

As I'd said, first time with a shave stick. I had used the Wilkinson sword blue tub... and really hadn't liked it.

So I used the, "rub the stick on the face, then lather it with a brush," method.

I was amazed how fast it started to lather, It was a full Santa Clause in a few seconds, certainly less than a minute, and the shave was smooth and gentle.

Next time, I'll probably have a bit wetter brush to start, it was a bit thick on the first pass, but that's just the learning curve.

I will have no qualms about using this on my travels, and might try compressing it into a bowl to make a puck after I get back.
