DE86/87: Is this normal?

I just noticed this today when I was giving the razor a thorough cleaning. The gap is about 1mm (slightly too small for me to stick my fingernail in)...anyone elses have something like this? Is there anyway to fix it? Perhaps I'm just being too anal

Haven't noticed it on mine, but I haven't looked for it. I wouldn't worry about it. It's a great razor. But that's just my opinion and it's worth every penny you paid me for it.

Poor picture quality and a gap of less than 1mm make it difficult to see what you are talking about. Maybe my eyes are bad, but I don't see the gap you are referring to.

This one might be better.
Ah well, it's nothing a couple of Prozac won't fix
Plus, it's not like the razor is any less smooth now
