DE Razors and TSA

I tried searching the forums and couldn't find anything already posted about this so I apologize if it's already out there.

Are DE razors blades allowed through security at airports? I travel about 15 to 20 times a year but I always check a bag (I'm a Delta medallion member so bags are free to check) and this time I'm only bringing a carry on. Since I always have a checked bag I haven't had to put my shaving stuff through security yet. Looking at the website for TSA they mention that razors are banned but they make a note about DE shaving razor blades. I also know they are allowing more items through as of 4/25 like knives and hockey sticks. So I think I'm OK to bring them but I just want to make sure before I try it.

You can carry on a SE or a DE razor without the blade, but you cannot carry on any type of razor blades except those for cart razors.
You can mail ahead, buy some at your destination, or check a bag, but you can't carry on.

I travel often, and you can only check razor blades. I also put my Razors in my checked baggage to avoid getting searched going through security mainly for speed. I also buy razors as I travel to different. ALL GO INTO MY CHECKED BAGGAGE, and yes my bags have been searched several times by TSA, they leave a brochure type card in your luggage telling you your luggage was searched with the inspectors number written on the card. When I bring mugs home I leave them a note on top of my clothes telling them there are mugs and razors with no blades in the razors and to please repack as carefule as I did, they always have repaced well and all of my mugs have mae it safely home. I always put my name and cell phone on the note along with my Global Entry and Trusted Traveler numbers.

Thanks for the replies. I assumed I could take the razor but it was just the blades I was wondering about. I did Google search before asking on here but everything I found was from a few years ago. The link below shows the TSA banned item list and in the sharp objects section there is a mention about razor blades but it sounds like it excludes blades for safety razors.

http://www.tsa.gov/sites/default/files/assets/pdf/prohibited_items_brochure_0.pdf

It says

Razor-Type Blades - Such as box cutters, utility knives, razor blades not in a cartridge, but excluding safety razors.

The "razor blades not in a cartridge" means the razor blades themselves.
The "but excluding safety razors" means the actual razor itself, such as Your 1956 Superspeed.
