So here is the damaged fatboy I was talking about a while back (I PIF'd a similar one away today too). As you can see in the first picture, there is a slight gap between one of the silo doors and the middle bar. I would really appreciate any tips on how I could fix this (I have tried bending the doors, just don't know how or which way). I've shown in the second picture an example of some well aligned silo doors for comparison.
In these next pictures, you see the silo doors opened. Since the razor is resting on the knob, the razor looks fine. Then when you look at the next picture, you notice that the knob is extended out too far and that the silo doors are closed. If I push the knob in, the doors reopen. At this point, the screw in the knob is at the "doors open" position then.
And in this last picture, you see the razor with the knob in the "doors closed" position. With the doors closed, the knob actually stays in the right place and except for the gap in the doors, the razor looks fine.
I would really appreciate any tips on how to fix this razor up. Or if anyone who is an expert/has encountered these issues thinks it's fine to shave with a razor in such a condition. I'm concerned, because the doors on my slim and toggle don't move at all if I push on them when they are in the closed position, but one of the doors on this fatboy moves a tiny bit.
