Czech and Speake Oxford and Cambridge

I got a puck of C&S Oxford and Cambridge in the mail today. First shave with it, and I have to say I really love the scent. It's a lavender, but also has a light sweetness to it. I can see it becoming a favorite for me.

It took a little work to get the lather going, like some hard soaps do... but pretty creamy once it got there.

Overall, I really like it. Had not used a soap in a while, but this is a good one.

I found it to be a fantastic soap. My puck was recently used up in proper 3017 style, until my wife discovered just how nice the stuff is and I gave her the remains for her purposes. When I can find C&S soaps with reasonable shipping, I will add another puck and one of "88" as well.

I know it has gotten a little pricey over the last few years but it remains one of the favorite soaps in my rotation. The Italians should get more credit for soap making as they produce a lot of great private label soaps.

Yeah they do.

For all the love that AoS soaps get, you'd think more people would offer a tip of the hat to the company that makes the soap for AoS.

The Valobra stick is a very good soap.

I recently purchased a traveler-sized puck of O&C. I agree that's it's an excellent soap. I didn't get a very strong scent from the puck; it just smelled like soap to me.

I agree. It's not a very strong scent. I notice it most during the shave. I think it smells really good though.

I buy the large refill pucks (90g) of Oxford and Cambridge, in addtion to No. 88, and can smell them through the packaging. Never have purchased the travel size.

I've shaved a couple more times with the C&S... each time my face feels so fresh and good after the shave. I am really enjoying this soap. I would encourage anyone to try it if they get the chance.
