I just found these 2 at a labor day antique sale. The gold washed one looks like a ball end tech with an open comb but I am not sure what the other one is or if it is a frankenrazor..

I can't tell from your photo but if the gold one is an open comb it is a New and not a Tech. I have no idea what the other one is.

Looks to be that, four piece traveler. Does the handle come apart (unscrew)?

The head says gillette on it.. it is the handle that was giving me trouble. It has an opening in the bottom as well.

Check and see if that handle unscrews in the middle - I seem to remember that some travel razors (short handle) came with an extension that could be screw on to make a regular sized handle.

It does not twist in the middle.. it may be missing a piece so it may be the 4 piece traveler just minus the extension. The comb says made in USA so it may be a frankenrazor as well with a few pieces from different razors.

Could it be able to telescope in but it's stuck?

I don't know what it is, but I'm digging it.
