Ern Craftsman

Though I am mainly a Filly fan, I have a couple of Erns--great shavers--and wonder about the date of one of them. It is marked in gold wash Craftsman and ditto inlaid on scales. The logo is different that most ERNs I have seen as it is in a center cartouche with made in Germany. Gold washed in center and also on tang and shoulder. Model is 9202. I have always thought this was a post WW II for the English language market but not sure if ERN survived the war. I have seen one other Craftsman like it. Anyone have any ideas on dating?

For those interested in the Ern Craftsman model, I found my original purchase notes for this razor, a little water soaked. I see that a cheaper version, with no gold wash, jimps, or Ern or Germany markings was sold by Sears under the Craftsman label. Scales are identical to the fancy models. My notes show that I got this fancy Ern Craftsman razor in 1965 but there is nothing about East or West Germany on it. Just Made in Germany..
