Culmak Black

TGN 25mm Black Badger...just set her in. After a lot of feedback (thanks again guys) I decided to leave the handle as is. I think it turned out great. I'll let you know how it works out. :thumbup1:

Thanks guys...nope, didn't treat it at all (other than clean and finish the interior). It's actually structurally pretty sound. Based on what I've read, catalin or bakelite gets cracks like that when exposed to fairly extreme temperature/climate changes. I'm a cold water shaver, so I think I'm good there. My guess is that it will survive intact for quite some time. None of the cracks go all the way through, so we shall see.

What are your thoughts on the black badger knot ?:001_huh:

Hmmm...PRIIIIIICCCKKKLLLYYY! I'm only two shaves into it, so I'm hoping it breaks down a bit more. I don't mind it really, just different. I love the size, so it makes a great lather.

I don't know that badger will break in like boar, but we'll see.

Excellent job

Glad you didn't muck around with the handle too much, the appearance just adds character to it. There ain't gonna be anybody posting they've got the same brush as you !!!
