Crystal Platinum vs. Personna Red Vs. Personna Blue vs. Personna Med?

How close are these to being the same thing? I understand that the Crystals are made in the same plant as some of the Personna blades.

Someone recommended the meds for the Muehle 2011 R41 which I am currently trying out, and I only have the Crystal Platinums on hand....Sooooooo.....

I have tried Astra SP and I love them in my superspeed but dear Lord they were terrible in the R41. Sharks SS were serviceable but a bit rough. I have some Shark Chromes that I want to try too.

I like the Personna Reds myself, with the Labs second and Crystals a distant third. Havnt tried the Meds yet. But as they say, what works for me might not work for you.

They are all fine blades- two made in Israel and 2 made in USA. I like all of them.

I've tried the Personna Meds. Really sharp (comparable to a Feather blade) but none of the irritation I find with the Feather.
