CrOx for removing light scratches

Anyone has tried using CrOx (green/red or both) to polish the blade from light scratches/patina?

I've not tried it, but it could work. Messy, though...

CrOX is among several historically used polishing compounds for many many applications. CrOX, Tripoli, Rouge etc I used since a kid on buffing wheels for hundreds of projects.

So, yes, you can of course.

However, there are other products you might try and have better results. Flitz and Mother’s Metal polishes are pretty handy. As are diamond sprays/pastes.
