Counterfeit Lijun Brush?

My Lijun brush arrived in the mail yesterday. Here's the link to the auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/221116320498?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Instead of the Lijun Shavin logo, as seen in the picture on the auction, there was a tiny gold sticker with the initials LS on the handle. Counterfeit Lijun Brush? Also, it was loose in the package instead of coming in a gift box, as the auction stated. Other than that, it appears to have the same handle and bristles as seen in the picture. I will use it for about a week before leaving feedback on the ebay auction. If it works well, then I guess my concerns were just silly.

I doubt that anyone would bother counterfeiting a $12 brush. Like what would they profit? $2 per brush? Maybe if you ordered 20,000 of them this might be a possibility but not a single brush.

Now if it was a $250 Rooney maybe you should be concerned

+1 on the pic was the LS in a round circle if so the LS would stand for lijun shaving could be a design change similar to the frank shaving logo...

I would advise you against using it, for now. Anyway, how can the counterfeit of a chinese product be any worse than the original? Isn't this some kind of a double negative?

Definitely not one I've seen before.

Contact the seller, see what they have to say. If you are not happy with their response or how they handle it, escalate it to eBay/PayPal.

The knot of the advertised brush looks really nice. Kentb, at the end of the day who cares about labels? You are right, this might be an excellent brush, although I would very much prefer to get the brush in the picture.

A Hero fountain pen is essentially a knockoff of a Parker, and it goes for a few bucks. Amazingly, there are counterfeit Heroes.

As for problems with products from a banned vendor, cry me a river.
