Counterfeit B&B LE Brush?!

I saw this 2011 B&B LE Rudy Vey brush up for sale and bought it without looking it up on here first. After I made the purchase the page where it was listed was removed so I couldn't go back to look at pictures of it. The confrontation email I got only had the front shot and not the bottom of the brush so I couldn't go back and look at it after.
Well the brush showed up today and the bottom is totally different than the pictures I saw on the original thread (2011 B&B LE Brush SOLD OUT-Updated). The listing said "Restored" but the engraving is half painted and the 18/22 is definitely not right because there were 75 lol.
What do you guys think, is it a fake or was the bottom so scuffed up that when it was "restored" they just guessed at what it said?

@Rudy Vey would be the man to us know. That is a Team Brush as well.

The 2011 LE brush, was a different offering than the team brush. Team brushes were made especially for Admins/Mods/Emeritus/Stewards

Oh that's interesting, I didn't realize that there were different offerings for basically the same brush, especially one specially for the guys that run the show! Thanks for the info

As the engraving says it is a Team brush. I have made several Team brushes over the years.
The 2011 was then not named LE, but Group Buy. Here is a picture of the few I have:

Another picture from the "production line". One can see the finish turned handles in the top box, and below the rods that were cast and then the blanks cut to size and drilled and ready for turning.
I could not find a picture that says LE, only Group Buy, but the final edition may have been named LE - maybe someone who has this brush can chime in - one brush I have at home also says Group Buy.

What's the difference between a Group Buy and an LE? Is a group buy where you just make however many are ordered, where the LE is a predetermined amount of brushes to be made and when they're sold out that's it? I know the most recent Group Buy brush wasn't numbered so I'm guessing that's the main difference.

A Group Buy I can offer (after speaking with B&B admins to OK) but LE's have to be sanctioned by B&B, and often show the badger head. LE's are always numbered, hence LE, but group buys not.
