Conk Almond smell-alike?

Conk almond was my first wet-shaving lather. Loved it. So much. Still do - my only gripe is that the lather is not as thick and luxe as I want it to be. I'm trying to find a soap or cream that matches as closely as possible the conk almond scent. I've tried samples of the T&H almond cream, Caswell Massey almond cream, and Trumpers almond cream and I *HATE* every single one. Trumpers is perhaps the least offensive to me, but they all seem to have a much more cherry/floral scent than the Conk I love. Conk is more mellow and musky to me, and much less in-your-face than the other creams I've smelled. It has a scent that makes your mouth water, not a heady scent that makes you think you're smelling perfume.

I've read the various old posts on almond soaps and creams. It seems p160 was a very close scent match to Conk, but is discontinued now. I'm crossing my fingers that someone on B&B will be able to reaussure me that I can find the mellow almond scent I crave. These are my last bastions of hope:

-Trumper soap - someone said the soap scent is different from the cream. Can anyone confirm? What is the difference?

-Harris almond (cream or soap?) - people say it's much different than the GFT/T&H, etc., but that it doesn't really smell like almond. I'm worried about that b/c Conk does smell like almond to me. Can someone provide a comparison?

-Italian almond soaps - can anyone confirm an Italian Conk scent twin?

I don't really care if I get a cream or soap, as long as the lather is lick and luxurious and the scent is spot-on. Any help appreciated!

Haven't really tried other almond soap that compares in scent but I used the Col. a few days ago with RR P-160 almond aftershave balm. Good couple.

I know its a cream but what about Fitness, it's almond and Coconut. I've never used it but it's italian so should be good. Cheap aswell. As for Col Conk, Krona sent me a puck and I do agree a different kinda almond scent to others like TOB etc. Less sweet.

Im curently using ToBS Almond scent in the tub, love the stuff. Havent tried it out of the tube though. Might want to give that a shot.

Edit: NM, thought ToOBS had almond scent in a soap, but I guess it is just cream.

People claim that Cella smells like almonds, you could order up a sample from Garry when he resumes business Monday.

Have never smelled/tried Conk Almond, but can vouch for the value/performance of Razorock Classic... not sure about how close the scents are though!

P160 does NOT smell at all like Conk Almond. Nor do any of the Italian soft soaps. Or any other soap I've smelled. I too love the scent of the Conk but not so much the performance. I have not come across another product that matches the scent, even the Conk Almond balm doesn't smell like the soap.

Never smelled Conk, but Cella smells like almonds. It's a lovely discrete scent.

Nothing discrete, however, about the performance. It's crazy amazing.
