Coke or Pepsi?

Maybe I should put this thread in the Barber Shop since it is guaranteed to inflame the passions (and therefore heated debate) of Coke and Pepsi lovers everywhere.

So get up on your soapbox and sing the praises of your favorite beverage! Which do you prefer? Have any secret concoctions you make with your sweet love that you would like to share?

Almost forgot - I'm a Coke man. Miss Serena, my four legged SHWBO, demands Pepsi. We fight a lot. She usually wins.

Well the General forum is for general shaving talk. So unless the topic is "Coke or Pepsi: Which makes a better aftershave or is better for removing rust from old razors*", it should go in the Barber Shop or The Speakeasy.

But anyway, I prefer Coke made with real cane sugar. In fact I love the stuff. Pepsi, not so much. If I'm at a fast-food place that only has Pepsi, I mix in a little of whatever Lemon/Lime soda they have. Tastes pretty good that way.

*if you're going to do this, be very careful because it removes the nickel plating.

-see, now it belongs here.

Definitely coke - and definitely glass bottle. Doesn't get any better.

**disclaimer- sacrilage below****
has anybody noticed that their quality control seems a bit poor? Some days my coke tastes like it has lime in it, and sometimes it's a little less sweet. I even detect a little bit of dr pepper taste once in a while. Usually I notice this with the 2L bottles only.

B&B membership has its percs
+1 on the bottled, but even in a can Coke is way better .. after all, Pepsi is just a pale copycat ..

"Bourbon & Pepsi please"

"Pepsi Bottle Glasses"

"Ridin' that Train, High on Pepcane" ..

Oh, & Diet either is just plain wrong, drink tap water, take your large behind for a walk to get it, for free?

I drink very little soda... in fact, I can't remember the last time I had a cola-type drink. But, as I recall... Pepsi for drinking straight, Coke for mixing (with rum).

this may sound sort of backwards....but I prefer Diet Pepsi WAY before Diet Coke.

However, I have to agree with the majority when it comes to regular Coke vs. Pepsi - Coke in the glass bottle all the way!!!

Being a native born Southerner (Louisiana, not Texas), every time I drink a Cole without a healthy shot of bourbon, I feel like something is missing. And it is!

Pepsi and bourbon? Blaspheme the very thought!

Soda is for kids.

PEPSI is the Mach3 of the drink world; COKE is the Fusion.

I much rather prefer a tasty adult beverage.

And I'm going to register a complaint because there is no mention of BACON anywhere in this thread.
