No doubt about it, Proraso/ C.O. Bigelow is awesome awesome stuff!! 
It was my first 'real' shaving cream. I have other scents that I like better, but you can't beat the performance for the price.
It works so well for me it is the only cream I have ever bought.

Is the CO Bigelow Cream exactly the same cream as Proraso?
This is endlessly discussed around here, with people taking a number of different positions. For my money, they're the same.

Congratulations on finding the CO Biggelow! I had a rough time finding it, until I went to one in my hometown.. Called the 1800 number and was told it was discontinued.. When I found it near me it was too late and decided to jump on Proraso for 2 for 22 free shipping!
Another suggestion, pick up some Kiss My Face.. I use cool mint. Cool mint+ Proraso = an amazing superlather!

Yeah its good stuff, one of my favorite creams.
+1 on the superlather, I dont remember who around here reccomended using a few drops of glycerin in the mix but they were right, smooooth!

lots of people but i like olive oil instead of glycerin try it, it will surprise you. It will be much more slicker but not as thick.
I spent a good portion of the day outside in sloppy hot weather. The Bigelow face freeze shave felt so good tonight.

It would be even better if you prep with noxema and then after you shave use a mentholated aftershave.
I had not used it in awhile, as I've recently picked up some higher end creams (TOBs, Nancy Boy and Trumpers are now in my heavy rotation).
I decided to make it a Proraso day yesterday with the Proraso pre-shave and the CO Bigelow cream. It was definitely better than I remembered. Nice clean smell and no irritation whatsoever (which undoubtedly reflects improvements in technique since I used it primarily a few months ago).

I try to take a break for a couple days in my Bigelow/Proraso usage. I find if I use it every day I can't feel the menthol effects, but if I use it once a week it is more intense. However, it is my favorite summer cream I have found so far.
