I was at the track today for MotoGP, so cigars were easier. I enjoyed a nice Diplomatico Spain regional exclusive. Mmmm, yummm.
Had an Avo Uvezian footlong hot dog. I don't know, maybe a 7.5"x50? It was huge. Tasted good but besides being long it was REALLY slow burning with a tight draw. Probably about an hour and a half later I don't think it was halfway down and it went out...I gave up.
A shortie for the evening.
Unbanded box-press torpedo, part of a gift pack. Not bad for the ride home from work, but if it's the same blend as its twin, it's better as a morning-coffee cigar.
do tell....do folks pair cigars with coffee like they do liquor?

I think so. I usually like 5 Vegas Gold box-press 55's, but this one was legit. I'm sure there are those out there who have their favorites.
Lesson plans are done, watching some boxing in TV and trying an Alec Bradley Nica Puro for the first time.

To my unrefined palate this had a very consistent earthy semi leathery taste. Not spicy at all. Seemed mild to some of the others I have smoked recently.

Had another one of these today while driving. It's great for driving.
I had a small CAO Brazilia last night on my back deck with a pint of Guinness - very nice indeed.
