How does this knot splay compared to your other Simpson natural hair brushes?
How did you like the Crystals?
The CH2 took some getting used to. I checked my records and I’ve used it 87 times. I would estimate that it took about 30 shaves for it to splay properly.
My Simpson X3 is a different beast altogether. It’s my first and only Badger and it splayed nicely right from the first shave.
Crystals are fantastic blades! They have a nice balance between sharp and smoothness.
I really liked them too…the Reds were also excellent; the new German made replacements are OK, but not as good.
The Reds are on my list. If I happen to come across them I will definitely consider buying them.
I did try the German Personna’s and agree that they’re nothing special.
