Im trying to decide between getting a four sided paddle strop from tony miller or a chinese 12K. I have a DMT 8EE on the way and am wondering which will be the best combination. I like the sound of the 12K making an edge that will last longer than one off a pasted paddle. Also will the more regular need for upkeep on the pasted paddle put increased wear on the blade? How are the edges off both of these combination comparible? i would probably end up using .5 diamond paste as im struggling to find any CrO that will ship to UK.
