Does anybody change settings on there slim or fatboy adjustable as they go through different passes or areas on the face ?
Makes sense, today I broke in a slim adjustable, I say broke in but first shave for me. I find with a sharp blade, I get a good shave but my chin area pays the price. So it just makes sense with an adjustable to turn it down on that third pass or that last pass in that areaDepending on how well the razor and I are shaving on a given day, I may or may not turn it down for the ATG pass. I turn it down more often for the ATG pass on my upper lip though. I alternate between 5 and 9, and sometimes a 3 for ATG.
I've found that new and worn blades are too harsh and need to be turned down, it's only on shaves 2 and 3 that I can use the 9 setting and get away cut-free.
