Champion's League 2013/World Cup 2014 thread

We had a nice thread going before soccer ended a few months ago, but it is back. How are your team doing in the Champion's League? How about the World Cup qualifiers?

I am hoping for Bayern München to move to the semifinals of the Champion's League. I am happy after the USA tied Mexico last night for their World Cup qualifier.

I have a friend who is a Liverpool supporter, so he keeps me informed about how they are doing. I would love to see them near the top instead of one of the Manchester teams, for example.

Touring the wee stadia in Caledonias 3rd Division, The Rangers are. Myself, I was just in Glasgow a couple months ago watching Champions League football

Two German and Spanish teams in the semifinals. This will be interesting. Barcelona looked a tad rusty and Real Madrid at one point almost lost it, but I would never underestimate these teams. My gut tells me it will be a Barcelona vs. Real Madrid final, but I would love to see an all-German final.

Can't ever consider Barca out of any competition but they look far from their best. How the draw comes out is going to say a lot obviously but I'd love a Dortmund/Barca final. And I think we'll get it if Barca get Bayern next and Dortmund get Franco's 11

Sure have. Really don't have a weakness in any area. Strong from back to front. Bizarre if they win and then Heynkes is let go in favor of Pep. Then the pressure will well and truly be heaped on Pep from day one as if it wasn't going to be already
