CdG: Kyoto or Vettiveru

I wanted to ask some of the connoisseurs here their opinion: I'm debating whether to take advantage of a sale and get Vettiveru, which is short-lived on me but is really nice and feels good, or Kyoto, which sounds like a very good thing for me (woods + incense.) Is one significantly better?

I'm also debating not buying anything, because I always think that if I justify one last splurge I will banish the AD demons. Yet they return. THEY RETURN.

Return they do. Thus I recommend my approach - submission. Resistance is, after all, futile.

I found Kyoto nice but a little too simple. Never tried Vettiveru. How short lived is it? No real point to a cologne that is gone in 45 minutes.

I'd say I can get 2-3 hours out of the Vettiveru before it's strictly a skin scent. Really nice and crisp while it lasts.

Both are excellent choices. I tend to prefer my vetivers green (aerial parts) instead of brown (root oil), so I'll choose Kyoto of the two.

Maybe too many scent fumes. Or AD has started killing brain cells.
