I'm not seeing much of anything in the way of reviews and comparisons with this scent. How does it compare to Pen's English Fern and Wild Fern by GFT? How is its strength and longevity? Is it more of a Summer or a Winter fragrance? Just probing for info since I can't find samples anywhere.

It's not anything worth writing home about imo, but if you are hell bent, give it a try. Castle Forbes makes absolutely amazing shaving cream, but their fragrances are lacking to say the least.
I haven't tried any of the CF scents, sorry, just remembered seeing it on Randy's decant list
I really like the scent of 1445. Another fragrance I can think of that it reminds me of is Irisch Moos edt but again.... with way more elegance. I have the balm as well. It is spicey and green.... that's the best I can describe it. It's the only CF scent I've ever tried.
